Job Role: Senior Financial Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our financial regulatory practice, you will play a senior role in overseeing complex client engagements and providing strategic advice on regulatory compliance, risk management, and enforcement readiness.

  • Lead advisory mandates involving regulatory interpretation, inspection readiness, and enforcement risk management.
  • Advise clients on complex regulatory issues, including SEBI/RBI circulars, master directions, and sector-specific requirements for banks, NBFCs, intermediaries, and capital market entities.
  • Provide strategic consulting during supervisory reviews, show cause notices (SCNs), divergence reports, and assist with regulatory inspections and enforcement defence strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Interpretation, Inspection & Advisory: Lead teams in interpreting regulatory guidelines, conducting inspections, and advising clients on compliance matters.
  • Compliance Program Development & Enterprise Compliance: Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs that ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Market Conduct, Insider & Fraud Risk: Identify and mitigate market conduct, insider trading, and fraud risks through effective monitoring and reporting mechanisms.
  • Regulatory Enforcement & Defence: Assist clients in responding to regulatory inquiries, investigations, and enforcement actions.
  • Conduct Risk, Senior Management Accountability & Leadership: Provide strategic guidance to senior management on conduct risk, accountability, and leadership.

Requirements:

  • Ambitious finance professional with an MBA/PGDM in Finance, Economics, or a related field. CAIIB/Certified Credit Officer/Company Secretary preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in regulatory advisory, supervision, credit risk, and compliance, with demonstrated leadership in RBI, SEBI, or large commercial/capital market institutions.
  • Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks, enforcement protocols, AML/KYC, market conduct, credit products, and institutional governance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to synthesize regulatory change into actionable guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high ethical standard.
