Job Title: Maintenance Planning and Coordination ExpertKey Position Summary:

The Maintenance Planning and Coordination Expert oversees a team of maintenance planners, schedulers, and permit writers who develop detailed plans and schedules for planned maintenance and project work. The role integrates routine maintenance planning/scheduling activities with operations, maintenance, and technical teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates non-turnaround routine maintenance work at the site performed by various crafts.
  • Provides support on planning, estimating, and scheduling for executed project work.
  • Ensures high-quality work packages in compliance with standards.
  • Drives accountability for standard planning and estimating tools and practices.
  • Delivers quality execution work plans and updates scope status and forecast.
  • Collaborates with Operations to integrate schedules into the operating plan.
  • Partners with Asset Maintenance Team Leads to feed planned work into the asset integrated plan/workflow.
  • Develops tools to streamline cost and execution forecasting accuracy and report on status at individual project and portfolio level.
  • Works with Construction Services team to integrate executed scope into a master project schedule.
  • Clearly communicates scope progress to customers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Assists in growing Routine/Planned Maintenance work process competency within the ENGINE.
  • Ensures Lessons Learned reviews are completed for each event and drives subsequent improvement initiatives.
  • Proactively supports backlog management.
  • Responsible for developing and improving maintenance resource forecasting for the development Asset's 5-year Work Plan.
  • Participates in hiring and organizational design as required.
