Job Title

Landscape Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Conceptual and Detailed Landscape Designs: Create landscape designs for residential and commercial real estate projects.
  • Prepare Design Drawings: Develop masterplans, layout plans, planting schemes, hardscape designs, and other design drawings.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work with architects, urban planners, civil engineers, and environmental consultants for integrated project design.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with local municipal norms, environmental regulations, and project-specific guidelines.
  • Landscape Implementation: Oversee landscape design implementation at project sites and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
  • Review BOQs and Cost Estimates: Review landscape BOQs, cost estimates, and construction drawings.
  • Site Assessments and Analysis: Conduct site assessments, soil analysis, and feasibility studies to support design decisions.
  • Design Documentation: Prepare presentations, mood boards, and design documentation for internal approvals and client presentations.
  • Represent the Team: Represent as Landscape design expert at meetings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver excellent project work within agreed deadlines and budget.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a reputed Institute.
  • Experience: 8-12 years of relevant experience in Landscape Consultancy and Real Estate Development projects.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion, Photoshop, and Revit.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Landscape architectural design, hardscape materials, softscape/horticulture, planting design, soil conditions, subsoil and surface drainage systems, irrigation, and lighting systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • Sustainable Landscaping: Knowledge of sustainable landscaping techniques and certifications (e.g., IGBC, LEED).
  • Design Innovation: Passion for design innovation, environmental stewardship, and creating community-centric spaces.
