Visual Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visual Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual content that supports our mission of promoting sustainable urban mobility and community engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about design and has a strong understanding of visual communication principles. You will have the chance to work closely with our program and communications teams to develop innovative solutions for campaigns, events, and reports, helping to tell the story of our work in a powerful and accessible way.
About the Role- Visual Communication & Branding: Develop visual concepts and designs for all print and digital media, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines.
You will create infographics, presentations, and other visual assets that communicate complex ideas clearly, as well as design materials for large-scale public campaigns and events, including posters, banners, social media graphics, and event signage.
Key Responsibilities- Campaign & Event Collateral: Design materials for large-scale public campaigns and events, including posters, banners, social media graphics, and event signage.
- Content & Storytelling: Transform research data and reports into visually engaging and easy-to-understand infographics and charts, and support the creation of visual narratives for success stories, case studies, and public-facing reports.
- Digital & Social Media: Create dynamic content for social media platforms (static images, short animations, GIFs) to drive engagement and amplify key messages, and assist in maintaining and updating our website with new visual content.
- Photography & Videography: Help capture and edit photos and videos from events and projects to build a rich visual library, and work with external photographers and videographers as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a graphic designer, preferably with a focus on social impact or urban development.
- Proven experience in creating successful visual campaigns for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in Hindi and English is a must.
- Experience in motion graphics or video editing.
- Familiarity with urban mobility, road safety, or public health campaigns.
- A portfolio that demonstrates a range of creative and impactful design work.
