Job Title: Production Manager

A pivotal role within our organization, the Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire production process on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise all aspects of production to ensure daily targets are met efficiently.
  • Oversee job placement, workflow, and movement of components during various manufacturing stages.
  • Develop and implement layout plans for new projects, including fixtures, gauges, and machinery installation.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), production reports, machine checklists, and breakdown logs to guarantee a smooth operation.
  • Ensure effective in-process inventory management and coordinate with R&D and design teams for successful product development and integration.
  • Monitor production costs and optimize resource usage to meet budget targets.
  • Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and policies to safeguard employees and the environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes through lean practices and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and certifications required for solar product manufacturing.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in solar structure manufacturing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of solar mounting structures and fabrication techniques.
  • Experience in handling production machinery, tools, and quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency in production planning software, MS Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
