Job Title: Technical Product Manager

Lead and contribute to the execution of product lifecycle processes for our Insurtech products/platforms, working with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfilment of product requirements, evaluates product performance and transitions products from development to commercialization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive API integration, SQL data mapping experience, and a strong understanding of SDLC and technology system interfaces. They will also possess strong communication skills, problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical discussions with Engineering teams and thoroughly oversee technical/business requirements.
  • Assist in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases.
  • Mentor/Drive a team of Product Managers while acting as a technical consultant to the product organization and leads research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.
  • Ensure the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.
  • Act as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development and requirements.
  • May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests. Responsible for product delivery managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of experience into Product Management, including analyzing software/product design, development, and deployment.
  • Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent Degree in technology or related field
  • Strong Background of working as a Technical & Functional Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis etc.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC & technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems
  • Coaching & mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners
  • An SME who performs work with a high degree of latitude; handles the most complex issues.
  • Possess strong Communication skills, Problem-solving & Analytical thinking skills.
  • Can lead individual assignments & deliver with strong expertise
  • Expert level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools
  • Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional in a global team setup
  • Experience in Life & Annuity Industry is preferred, not mandatory
