The Role: Technical Account Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to join our growing team. As a TAM, you will serve as the technical champion for all of our customers, helping them achieve the greatest value from our platform.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Helping customers during their onboarding process with activities like architecture design, product configuration, and use case implementation
  • Effectively managing the tracking of top-tier customer projects and resolution and escalations on behalf of product and services
  • Ensuring constant communication with customers and emerging as their trusted technical advisor and partner
  • Establishing business value for customers and helping them achieve their targets and ROI from the use of our platform
  • Helping existing customers understand the business case value proposition and identifying post-sales challenges/pitfalls to be mitigated into opportunities

You will also have the opportunity to:

  • Understand, advocate, and document customer use cases, architecture, and roadmaps
  • Champion and advocate for customers within Gravitee, following up with Engineering and Product Management on product features and future roadmap needs
  • Support other Gravitee teams with demonstrations, content creation, and marketing activities contributing to the Gravitee Platform being more widely adopted

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience handling customers of all sizes in a Professional Services function in a fast-paced Software/SaaS company
  • Strong desire to tackle hard technical problems and proven ability to do so with little or no direct daily supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to concisely explain complex technical issues and solutions
  • Prior experience administering/interacting with an Access Management platform(s), preferably API management platforms
  • Ability to travel when required to meet with your accounts

Desired Skills and Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience or knowledge in container technologies (e.g., Docker) and Kubernetes
  • Software development experience in one or more programming languages such as Java or Python
  • Additional European language skills are a strong plus

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
