About this role

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with learners with multiple disabilities and guide participants in their education.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology, including experience working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' abilities using standardized tests and informal evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one and group speech therapy sessions to improve articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive communication.
  • Work closely with special education teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and parents to support integrated student development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adapt therapy plans as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid certification or license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • 3 to 7 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
  • Experience working with children with special needs preferred.

Familiarity with assistive technology and specialized instructional strategies is also desirable.
