About the Role
\We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to end-users to ensure smooth IT operations.
\You will oversee the daily performance of computer systems and address any issues promptly. You will also install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components to ensure usability.
\Maintaining system performance and ensuring compliance with security standards is a key aspect of this role. You will work closely with other IT team members to develop and implement new technologies.
\Documenting technical issues and solutions to improve the knowledge base is crucial in this position. You will assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
\Conducting regular system audits and generating reports to identify areas for improvement is another key responsibility. Managing user accounts and access permissions to maintain system security is also essential.
\Providing training and support to end-users on various software and hardware is a critical aspect of this role. Participating in the planning and execution of IT projects to enhance system capabilities is also important.
\To succeed in this role, you must be able to troubleshoot complex issues effectively and possess strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact with end-users and team members.
\You should have experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software. Knowledge of system security practices and compliance standards is also required.
\A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Experience in a Service Desk or similar technical support role is also desired.
