Occupational Therapist Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires at least 3 years of experience in pediatrics, preferably with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD & Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Cerebral Palsy (CP) & Down Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorders & Neurodevelopmental Delays.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed OT assessments, therapy planning and regular progress updates. They will also provide parent consultations and guide home-based intervention plans, as well as mentor junior therapists through feedback, coaching and group training sessions.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough OT assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.\
  • Provide regular progress updates and make recommendations for continued therapy.\
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.\
  • Mentor junior therapists and provide guidance and support.\
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research in occupational therapy.\
  • Support organizational goals and objectives through active participation in staff meetings, workshops and other events.\
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues.\
  • Ensure high-quality services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.\
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and regulations.\

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • \
  • Master of Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program.\
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in [State/Province].\
  • At least 3 years of experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, CP, DS, SPD, and NDD.\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.\
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other software applications.\
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy theories and models.\
  • Experience with assessment tools and equipment.\
  • Familiarity with insurance reimbursement processes and policies.\
  • Physical stamina to perform job requirements.\
  • Passion for providing high-quality services to vulnerable populations.\
