About the Role

This is a full-time on-site position for an Occupational Therapist located in Pune.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to children with various developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges.

The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to promote independence, improve functional skills, and enhance the quality of life for children and their families.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's abilities using standardized tools and clinical observations.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and child/family goals.
  • Providing direct occupational therapy interventions, including therapeutic activities, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive equipment training.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.
  • Collaborating with parents/caregivers to develop and implement home programs and providing education and training on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote child independence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in India.
  • Experience working with children with a variety of developmental, physical, and cognitive challenges.
  • Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and treatment techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
