The role of a Program Coordinator in Skill Development is pivotal in empowering the youth of Odisha. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering meaningful skill development initiatives that have a lasting impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of skill training programs across multiple centers, ensuring seamless coordination and effective resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with project guidelines under DDUGKY, OSDA, and other schemes, maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.
  • Liaise with stakeholders including government departments, local authorities, and training partners, fostering collaborative relationships that drive mutual growth and success.
  • Support mobilization, training operations, assessments, certifications, and placements, leveraging expertise and resources to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor center performance through regular visits and reporting, providing constructive feedback and guidance to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in documentation, audits, and submission of reports to funding agencies, ensuring transparency and accountability in all aspects of program implementation.
  • Facilitate training and capacity building of field staff and trainers, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the skill development sector, preferably in managerial or supervisory roles, demonstrating leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of program implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and related digital tools, leveraging technology to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • In-depth understanding of Odisha's regional and administrative landscape, ensuring cultural sensitivity and contextual relevance in program design and delivery.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across different districts of the state, embracing mobility and flexibility in program implementation.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Prior experience with schemes such as DDUGKY, PMKVY, OSDA, ORMAS, etc., demonstrating a strong track record of program delivery and management.
  • Fluency in Odia, with working knowledge of English and Hindi, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage field teams and deliver results within deadlines, exhibiting exceptional leadership and time management skills.
