About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Finance Leader to drive financial operations and strategy. The ideal candidate will oversee accounting processes, lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure timely tax filings, audits, and compliance with relevant laws and standards.
- Lead annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 4-5 years of overall experience in financial management and accounting. Experience working with educational institutions will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and financial reporting requirements.
- Previous experience managing audits and tax reporting processes.
- Excellent skills in Excel and ERP / technology tools.
