Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to lead our financial operations in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily bookkeeping, accounting entries (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations), and ensure accurate timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and ROC filings for the India entity.
  • Support global operations, handle cross-border payments, FEMA compliance, and banking liaison.
  • Record, monitor, and clear all company expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure statutory compliance, prepare and file necessary returns and reports on time.
  • Manage import and export transactions, create and manage POs and SOs, and coordinate with procurement and sales teams.
  • Support audits and reporting, maintain accurate records for due diligence and fundraising requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Professional qualification preferred: CA Inter.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, with experience in a start-up environment a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, familiarity with TDS, GST, PF, PT, and other Indian statutory requirements.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.
  • Proficient in Zoho books and MS Office Suite, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
