About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Planning Strategist to join our team at Wavemaker, a leading media agency within GroupM. As a Group Head - Media Planning, you will be responsible for developing and executing media strategies that drive business growth for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand campaign objectives and target audience.
  • Develop media strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
  • Determine optimal mix of media channels, including digital, print, and broadcast media.
  • Help with day-to-day implementation and competition and post-evaluation reports.

Requirements
  • 5-7 years' experience in managing media planning/communication strategy & client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of brands & consumers.
  • Highly passionate, collaborative, outgoing, creative media leader and thinker.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Highly articulate, story-telling capability.
  • Business acumen.
  • Ability to understand mediums beyond ATL.
  • Excellent communication/presentation/client management skills.
  • Hands-on on all the media-related tools and software.
