Job Title: Physical Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Physical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital IC design and experience with tools such as Innovus, ICC2, and Fusion Compiler.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and optimization skills in digital IC design.
  • Utilize industry-leading tools for place and route, timing closure, and physical design sign-off.
  • Leverage expertise in floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis (CTS), and static timing analysis (STA) to drive high-quality designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize power, performance, and area (PPA).
  • Ensure designs meet stringent DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction requirements.
  • Drive the tape-out process and work closely with verification and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in physical design engineering with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages like TCL, Perl, or Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
