Senior Physical Design Engineer

This is a senior-level position in physical design engineering where you will lead the design of complex ICs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead place and route activities from netlist to GDS-II.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of PnR activities including floor-planning, placement, congestion minimization techniques, routing, timing closure (STA), signoff checks like FEV, VCLP, EMIR, and PV.
  • Familiar with industry-standard E tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor.
  • Work on Deep Submicron technologies and have experience with TSMC 5nm and below.
  • Possess advanced scripting skills.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in physical design engineering.
  • Strong understanding of digital IC design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
