Physical Design Lead

Join a cutting-edge team and take on the role of Physical Design Lead, overseeing digital IC design and its intricacies.

About the Role:
As a seasoned professional in digital IC design, you will leverage your expertise to drive innovation and excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and optimization processes with precision and efficiency.
2. Expertly navigating Innovus, ICC2, and Fusion Compiler for place and route, timing closure, and physical design sign-off.
3. Driving experience in floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis (CTS), and static timing analysis (STA) to deliver high-quality designs.
4. Focusing on power, performance, and area (PPA) optimization to achieve exceptional results.
5. Conducting DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction to ensure clean designs meet industry standards.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive tape-out process and ensure high-quality designs.
7. Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance design efficiency.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least 5+ years of experience in digital IC design.
2. Strong background in scripting languages like TCL, Perl, or Python for automating design tasks.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DFM, DFT, and advanced packaging technologies is highly desirable.
