Job Title: Senior Integrated Circuit Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Integrated Circuit Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance integrated circuits (ICs) that meet our product requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop analog ICs using various process technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Applications, Test, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Reliability, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products.
  • Work closely with global manufacturing facilities to address customer-specific product quality, yield management, and cost reduction issues on mature products.
  • Develop and implement qualification plans to ensure device continuity of supply.
  • Perform evaluation, debug, and characterization of ICs to guarantee they meet product requirement specifications and manufacturing requirements.
  • Work with failure analysis to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures.
  • Collaborate with the planning team to ensure smooth device ramp post-release to manufacturing (RTM).
  • Qualify second-source wafer fab, assembly/test facility, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure device entitlement operational transfer cost (OTC).
  • Implement test conversion, test time reduction, and yield improvements to achieve device entitlement operational transfer cost (OTC).
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • M.S./Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analog IC design and development.
  • Strong background in circuit simulation, layout design, and physical verification.
  • Experience with design automation tools, such as Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Sentaurus.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or C++.
