Job Title: Business Partner and Employee Relations Specialist

 

This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

 

  • Responsibilities include being a strong partner and advisor to the business on all HR related matters, managing and resolving complex employee relations issues, and providing day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
  • The role also involves conducting new hire orientation, analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies, and providing HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • A key aspect of this position is acting as a change agent to the business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation.

 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this role, along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism.
  • Strong leadership skills are also necessary, as well as the ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • A Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is typically required, along with 5-8 years of experience in a similar role.
