Senior Employee Relations Expert

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced employee relations specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources management and employee relations, with a proven track record of providing expert advice and support to managers and employees. They will be responsible for managing sensitive employee issues, conducting thorough investigations, and providing recommendations to critical partners, HR Business Partners, and Leadership.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education, as well as 5+ years of related human resources management/generalist experience and 5+ years of employee relations experience. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to thrive in an unstructured environment and work autonomously.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing full cycle investigations and providing recommendations to critical partners, HR Business Partners, and Leadership.
- Providing front-line Employee Relations support, thought partnership, and coaching to the HRBPs.
- Independently conducting internal HR investigations, identifying potential solutions to address different case types and proposing reasonable next steps as the subject matter expert.
- Providing advisement and consultation to Leaders working through investigations and employee relations matters on approach and best practices with practical implementation strategies.
- Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to improve existing processes and provide guidance, solutions, actionable feedback, education, and training opportunities.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education.
- 5+ years of related human resources management/generalist experience.
- 5+ years of employee relations experience.
- Employee-focused outlook with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Experience working on various employee relations matters simultaneously, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary matters, and leave/accommodations concerns.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
