Senior Contract Specialist

A leading role in a fast-paced legal environment is available for a skilled professional with expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize terms and conditions for various commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, master agreements, and data privacy agreements, according to internal guidelines and best practices.
- Identify and resolve contract-related issues that may arise with other parties and internally within the organization.
- Develop creative solutions and draft alternative terms, working closely with attorneys as needed.
- Obtain approval for non-standard terms in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
- Provide training and education to internal teams on contract terms and legal obligations to promote conformity and consistency.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of legal administrative processes and documents, including contracts, corporate records, and non-disclosure agreements.
Requirements:
- University-level degree or equivalent, with 4-6 years' experience in negotiating legal terms and conditions with customers or vendors.
- Training or education in law, paralegal skills, negotiation, or legal writing, including relevant certifications.
- Desirable: familiarity with media organizations and ability to work flexible hours, preferably between 2 PM and 11 PM (IST).
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English and advanced skills in using digital tools, document systems, and Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
This role demands strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines. A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to learn and take on new tasks are essential for success.
