As a seasoned Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction contracts from inception to completion. This encompasses maintaining accurate project documentation, identifying changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost, and preparing contractual replies and requests to the employer.

  • Maintain chronological project documentation from inception to completion for all claim-related matters.
  • Be familiar with the Employer's requirements based on the intent of the package-wise Conditions of Contract and project schedule agreed upon in the contract.
  • Identify any changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost and ensure timely notification to the employer for the changes, follow-up, and approval.
  • Track submitted claims letters individually and prepare contractual justification referring to contractual conditions and necessary supporting documents to substantiate the Contractor's claim.
  • Prepare contractual replies/requests to the employer for claim approval.
  • Prepare claim documents.
  • Compose a detailed claim statement for all claims for submission to DAAB.
  • Present a detailed claim presentation from occurrence start to present status of the claim to the Advocate and take the next level of dispute resolution.
  • Update claim status to RO/HO.
  • Coordinate with the project team to obtain required details/prepared necessary inputs as needed by Ho/RO team.
  • Prepare comprehensive EOT applications, substantiating with contemporary records and references, and assist the project team in presenting to the employer, following up until project timeline is granted.
  • Ensure all project team claims are substantiated with contract entitlements in accordance with the Conditions of Clause.
  • Provide required details and input to DAAB committee.
  • Provide required details and input to advocate for arbitration until the issue is resolved.
  • Meet deadlines without delay and work under pressure effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the reporting manager and prepare additional reports/work as directed.
