Project Management Role

We are seeking a seasoned project manager to oversee the successful delivery of commercial construction projects.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time position that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and milestones, with regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration: Ensure compliance with contract scope, safety standards, budget controls, and quality requirements.
  • Site Coordination: Collaborate with site supervisors to monitor on-site progress and address any field issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software.
  • Administration: Oversee all project administration tasks, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, site instructions, deficiency reports, and closeout packages.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects.
  • Procurement: Manage purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Billing and Progress Claims: Track subcontractor invoices and prepare project billing and progress claims.
  • Budget Control: Maintain strict budget control and identify cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Client Relationships: Represent the company at project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors through proactive communication.
  • Problem Solving: Address project challenges and conflicts promptly to avoid delays.
