We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering team in Gift City, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage and inspire a team of 30-40 engineers.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. This includes overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and collaboration within the engineering team
- Work closely with other departments, including Product Management, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and support for engineering initiatives
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from IIT/NIT/BITS/IIITs or equivalent college
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- A proven track record of managing and scaling engineering teams
- Strong technical expertise in software development, architecture, and cloud technologies
- Hands-on experience working with React/NodeJS/Python/Java languages
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is ₹3,500,000 - ₹6,000,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
