Looking for a challenging role where you can leverage your technical expertise and passion for big data technologies? Our team is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, execute, and manage large-scale distributed systems.
Job Description:We are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing large-scale distributed data systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor performance, optimize existing projects, and research integrating Big Data tools and frameworks to provide requested capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Execution: Design and execute scalable solutions based on business and data requirements.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor performance and optimize existing projects.
  • Big Data Integration: Research and integrate Big Data tools and frameworks.
  • Data Tools Development: Create reusable components and data tools for integration with the company's data platform.

Requirements:We are looking for candidates with 2-4 years of experience in big data technologies (Apache Hadoop) and relational databases (MS SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL/Postgres). Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala is also required. Additionally, we are looking for experts in SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL/SPARK-SQL/HIVE-QL) and Apache Spark with knowledge of working with Data Frames, Data Sets, RDDs, Spark SQL/PySpark/Scala APIs and deep understanding of performance optimizations. Strong analytical/quantitative skills and comfort working with very large sets of data are essential.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Message Queues: Experience with Message Queues (e.g., Apache Kafka).
  • MPP Systems: Experience with MPP systems (e.g., Redshift/Snowflake).
  • NoSQL Storage: Experience with NoSQL storage (e.g., MongoDB).
