Software Engineer II Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our engineering practice, you will bring a high level of technical knowledge and expertise to drive the development and operation of our software systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include contributing to all areas of development and operations, from pre-production to production, as well as serving as an example of good engineering practices and helping others refine their skills.

  • You will participate in Agile ceremonies and perform engineering assignments using existing procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts, and work closely with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions.
  • Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations, actively monitoring key metrics and reporting on trends.
  • Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice, contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems, and contribute to project engineering design and standards verification.
  • Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectations.

Requirements:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or diploma (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible.
  • 7 – 8 years of engineering experience.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD principals and best practices.
  • Strong SQL, any RDBMS, Snowflake preferable – 7+ Years.
  • ETL experience, python programming, experience building data pipelines – 4+ Years.
  • AWS knowledge or any cloud platform like GCP or Azure – 4+ Years.
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Agile methodology and familiar with tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Orchestrate and monitor complex data workflows with Apache Airflow, ensuring reliability, scalability, and timely delivery of pipelines.
  • Develop and optimize Stored Procedures to enhance database performance, maintainability, and business logic execution.
  • Design and maintain data flow solutions using Apache NiFi for seamless, automated data ingestion and transformation.
  • Apply Agentic AI concepts to improve intelligent automation, decision making, and adaptive system behaviors.
  • Leverage Supply Chain domain knowledge to design technology solutions aligned with operational efficiency and business goal.
