Key Responsibilities:- Market Analysis and Negotiation: Identify potential buyers for sales of Agri commodities and negotiate prices and terms to maximize company interests.
- Market Information and Connection: Maintain connections with market participants to collect market information and stay up-to-date on market activities.
- Record Keeping and Benchmarking: Maintain historical records of price and cost to enable benchmarking and informed decision-making.
- Contract Execution and Coordination: Ensure contracts are executed with buyers as per agreed terms and conditions, and coordinate with the accounts team for invoice issuance and payment collection.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination: Assist in the appointment of CHA and freight forwarders, and ensure timely clearance of goods at destinations.
- Warehouse and Transportation Management: Assist logistics teams in identifying warehouses or tanks to store imported cargo and ensure local transportation of cargo.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure proper documentation and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Profit and Loss Growth: Responsible for growing profit and loss in the region through buying, marketing, and selling.
- Agri Trading and Sales Planning: Responsible for Agri trading of target commodities in the target sales region, including container freight.
- Sales Planning and Execution: Have complete control and responsibility for sales planning and execution, including planning and executing sales strategies.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities with internal teams.
- Client and Supplier Relationships: Maintain and develop commercial relationships with suppliers and buyers through daily contact.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Use and perform market analysis to implement appropriate buying and selling strategies.
- Existing Book of Business: Must have an existing book of business in the target region.
- Commercial Relationships: Maintain and develop commercial relationships with suppliers and buyers.
- Contract Execution and Compliance: Responsible for sound execution of sale and purchase contracts related to assigned origins and commodities.
- Finance Framework: Work within the finance framework, including LCs and documentary collection.
- Freight and Chartering: Understand freight, chartering vessels, booking, and associated costs with physical Agri products.
- Communication and Support: Provide solid communication and support for back-office and logistics teams.
- Liaison with Origin Teams: Close liaison with origin teams.
- Commodity Bucket: More than 20+ commodities, including Sesame, Soybean, Raw Cashew Nut, Pulses, and Oil seeds.
