ROLE DESCRIPTION :
- The Trader will be In charge of the Maize business development both Local and
International. He should have 7-10 years of prior experience in products like maize / corn.
- He will be responsible to source from FPO’s/ Farmers and supply to consumers. Also
should have handled the overseas buying.
- The role requires a self-motivated individual, who is an out of the box thinker with the
ability to come up with new business ideas and execution of the same.
- The individual will be responsible for building a robust foundation for a new business and
come with an entrepreneurial mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Market & Customer Development :
- Develop quality customers globally and servicing them.
- Adding New geography and customers every year.
- Conduct competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends to achieve
market share.
2. Strategic Planning :
- New Business Ideas : To advise management on new business ideas in existing as
well as new agri commodities.
- Create a Go-to-market strategy / Develop new value added / customized products.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS :
- MBA or PGDM from B. School Minimum 6 - 10 years of work experience in International
Maize Trading and Business Development. Preference will be to those who have worked in
International Markets.
- Should have a good level of written and verbal communication skills.
