Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Strategist to lead our procurement function and drive digitalization and automation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, category management, vendor relationships, and cost optimization.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, monitoring global and domestic markets, negotiating agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving cost reduction initiatives.

  • Developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies across various spend categories
  • Maintaining market intelligence on pricing trends, availability, and supplier performance
  • Negotiating and managing long-term partnerships with suppliers
  • Ensuring adherence to REACH, RoHS, and other regulatory requirements in procurement contracts
  • Driving process improvements through strategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and digitalization

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. They should also have proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office.

Required qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement within the chemical/process/manufacturing industry
  • Familiarity with global sourcing, customs regulations, and import/export documentation
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Supply Chain is required, with an MBA preferred.

Key responsibilities will include leading the procurement function, driving digitalization and automation, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and developing strategies to mitigate risks in the supply chain.
