Senior Software Engineer Job Description

Our company seeks a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Software Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design & Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design high-quality systems that are highly available, scalable, and secure.
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to system architecture decisions.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to ensure we stay at the forefront of industry trends.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Project Management: Assist in project scoping, estimation, planning, and delivery to ensure timely completion of technical milestones.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor ITSM activities and provide feedback to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, with 4+ years in software and microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of Java 8 (or later) and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with global teams across different time zones.
