Job Title: Front Office Manager

 

Job Overview:

This role is ideal for an experienced candidate with a background in front desk management or similar roles in upscale establishments. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service and administrative support at the front desk, while maintaining and improving operational procedures.

  • Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day Front Desk duties, including check-ins, check-outs, billing, answering phone calls, emails, and responding to inquiries with precision.
  • Ensure Front Desk functions operate seamlessly, identifying any lapses and rectifying them in real-time.
  • Administer front office functions daily, implementing continuous review and improvement (kaizen).
  • Fulfill duty assignments as needed in case of absence or peak workload.
  • Manage billing, recoveries, and track all invoices and payments (with assistance from the finance team).
  • Monitor and oversee guest services on a daily basis.
  • Identify critical guests, VIP arrivals, meet and greet, and attend to guests as necessary.
  • Respond to inquiries about short-term and long-term stays.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email composition and document drafting.
  • Possess a hospitality attitude and aptitude, prioritizing customer-centricity and effective communication.
  • Exhibit thorough organization and supervisory skills.
  • Show natural teamwork abilities, patience, negotiation skills, and dispute resolution capabilities.

 

Requirements:

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Hospitality preferred.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role in upscale hotels.
