Job Overview:

The role of an IT Support Specialist encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, ensuring seamless operations within the organization's IT infrastructure. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining business continuity by providing comprehensive technical support across various systems.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and IT service management to maintain the integrity of our IT systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networks) to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Respond to user requests and incidents via our IT helpdesk/ticketing system with efficiency and professionalism, prioritizing timely resolution.
  • Manage user accounts, email systems, and security groups in Active Directory/Office 365 with precision and attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues, collaborating closely with stakeholders to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Engage with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations, fostering strong relationships to drive success.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support/infrastructure, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and excellent customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms, with hands-on experience in implementation and management.
  • Excellent understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP), with the ability to design and implement efficient networks.
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
