Dean of Academic and Administrative Affairs

The Dean of Academic and Administrative Affairs is a senior academic leadership position responsible for providing strategic direction, ensuring academic excellence, and maintaining discipline. The role involves fostering holistic student development, promoting research, publications, and academic innovation among faculty and students.

  • Lead curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and academic planning to drive quality enhancement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, UGC/AICTE/NAAC/State University requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective student support systems, extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

Additionally, the Dean will oversee day-to-day administration, manage budgets and resource allocation, and supervise recruitment, training, and performance of faculty and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

* Drive academic innovation and promote research among faculty and students.

* Ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences through effective curriculum development and implementation.

* Foster collaborative relationships with industry, universities, and research organizations.

Administration & Governance:

* Manage administrative schedules, admissions, and examinations.

* Oversee infrastructure development and maintenance, ensuring optimal learning environments.

Student Development:

* Develop and implement effective student engagement strategies, including extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

* Provide guidance and support to students on academic and personal matters.
