Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Eco-Design Engineer to drive sustainable innovation in our product development processes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough life cycle assessments to evaluate the environmental impacts of products, ensuring eco-friendly design principles are integrated throughout the development process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable materials and manufacturing processes, aligning with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Identify and recommend best-in-class materials and processes that minimize environmental footprint.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies and tools to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for eco-design and sustainability.
  • Provide training and support to teams on eco-design methodologies and practices, promoting a culture of sustainability within the organization.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of eco-design projects, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in eco-design or sustainable product development, with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software and other design tools, as well as proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple functions.
