Job Title: Product Engineering Specialist

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

We seek an experienced product engineering specialist to drive sustaining engineering processes across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in supporting products through their full lifecycle, implementing design changes, and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and upskill engineers on product lifecycle management and sustaining engineering principles.
  • Support post-launch support and end-of-life product management.
  • Guide teams in implementing design changes and product modifications efficiently.
  • Lead CAPA investigations and ensure corrective actions are executed.
  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis to resolve recurring product issues.
  • Promote reliability improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation according to industry standards.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Service teams.
  • Develop and deliver training modules and on-the-job guidance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sustainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in product lifecycle support and sustaining engineering.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis techniques.
  • Experience driving CAPA processes and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Understanding of design changes and change management.
  • Ability to improve product reliability and performance metrics.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and technical writing skills.
  • Hands-on experience with multi-industry products.
  • Strong mentoring, coaching, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
