At Connor Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Accounting Senior Manager to join our team.

About the Role

This senior leadership position involves interacting with clients directly and leading critical meetings. As a key member of our team, you will coach and mentor colleagues, review their work, and manage multiple projects while demonstrating exceptional skills, courage, and discipline.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, auditors, investment bankers, and legal counsel by effectively managing multiple projects.
  • Add significant value to public and private clients by providing technical accounting guidance, revenue analysis, equity compensation, and financial statement preparation.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects, coach engagement teams, and own client relationships.
Key Requirements:
  • Rated in the top 25% of Big Four class, a CPA license is preferred.
  • 7+ years of public accounting and industry experience required (minimum of 3 years in public accounting).
  • 3 or more years of prior experience managing teams and owning their work product.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Proven expertise in writing complex technical accounting position papers.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for technical accounting research and self-education, with a desire to learn and become an expert.
