About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic HR Business Partner Leader to join our team at Head Digital Works. This is a unique opportunity to shape and drive the human resources agenda to support our business objectives.

Job Overview:

The Strategic HR Business Partner Leader will play a strategic role in developing and implementing HR strategies, programs, and initiatives that foster employee engagement, development, and retention. You will lead a team of HRBPs and collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their goals and develop aligned HR strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Partner with senior executives and business leaders to understand their business goals and develop HR strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to leadership on all aspects of HR, including talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and employee relations.
  • Lead the development and execution of HR initiatives that support our growth, innovation, and cultural values.

Talent Management and Development:

  • Oversee talent acquisition strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent in the gaming industry.
  • Design and implement performance management programs, career development frameworks, and succession planning processes to develop and retain high-potential employees.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create an environment where all employees feel valued and empowered to contribute their best work.

Employee Relations and Culture:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to managers on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance improvement, and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture by promoting open communication, collaboration, and recognition programs that celebrate employee achievements.
  • Lead efforts to continuously assess and improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and wellness programs.

Organizational Design and Change Management:

  • Partner with business leaders to assess organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities to support scalability, agility, and innovation.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support major organizational changes, such as mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and process improvements.
  • Ensure effective communication and training plans are in place to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruptions to employees.

HR Operations and Compliance:

  • Oversee HR operations functions, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS management, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with legal requirements and best practices while supporting our culture and values.
  • Partner with legal counsel and other stakeholders to address employee relations issues, investigations, and litigation matters as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing HRBPs or HR teams.
  • Experience in the gaming industry or other fast-paced, technology-driven environments is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and programs that drive business results and enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex HR concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations, with experience navigating complex employee relations issues and compliance requirements.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate future trends and proactively address challenges and opportunities in a dynamic business environment.

Salary:$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
