Key Quality Assurance Position

The Head of Quality Assurance will be responsible for overseeing the overall quality of applications, data, and development processes. This person will manage and refine our software QA practices, define and report on key quality metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all system data and application features are of the highest quality.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement a QA strategy aligned with business and engineering goals.
    • Establish quality standards, KPIs, and metrics to measure and improve product quality.
  • Process & Methodology
    • Design and maintain robust QA processes including test planning, execution, automation, and reporting.
    • Champion Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices to integrate QA seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
    • Conduct post-mortems and follow up with all teams to improve development processes.
  • Automation & Tools
    • Drive the adoption of test automation frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
    • Evaluate and implement QA technologies that support scalability and innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
    • Act as the voice of quality in executive discussions and product planning.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify and mitigate quality risks early in the development process.
    • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for critical defects and failures.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of QA experience.
  • Strong experience with application, data, and API testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA manual and automation processes and software testing lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and use of automated testing software (Agile/Scrum/SAFe, Playwright, Cucumber, TestRails, Selenium).
  • Good understanding of Web-based technology architecture and data structure.
  • Strong database skills (SQL).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience testing business solutions delivered on SaaS models.
  • Planning, designing, implementation, and use of automated test suites.
