Job Title: Software Development Director

As a Software Development Director, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design, build, and configure software applications. Your primary role will be to act as the point of contact for various stakeholders, ensuring that software development aligns with business objectives.

Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, overseeing project timelines, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to drive project success.

You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to your team while ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development process.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the direction of software projects and ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on software development
  • Collaborate and manage the team to perform tasks efficiently
  • Make key decisions related to team performance
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions
  • Provide solutions to problems affecting immediate and multiple teams
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions
Professional & Technical Skills:
  • Must-have skills: Proficiency in Microsoft ASP.NET
  • Good-to-have skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Architecture
  • Strong understanding of software application development principles
  • Experience with database management and integration
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
