Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software defined network solutions.

In this position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze customer requirements and use cases, gather technical details, create test plans, and validate that the product meets our customers' expectations.

You will also work closely with our customer support and engineering teams to help address escalated customer issues by reproducing and debugging problems in the lab.

This role offers opportunities to make a real impact in the rapidly growing Software defined (SD) branch, SD-WAN, Cloud IT services, and virtualization technologies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create effective test methodologies and write comprehensive test plans.
  • Collaborate with developers to automate tests and complement exploratory testing.
  • Participate in functional specification and software design reviews to provide input from a customer-centric perspective.
  • Design and execute test network topologies to validate functionality, performance, stability, and scalability of features and products.
  • Identify defects, validate resolutions, and contribute to a productive environment with best-in-class engineers on the Linux platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BE/B.Tech/ME/M. Tech degree in Computer Science or related field with networking industry experience.
  • Proven expertise in creating test methodologies and writing test plans.
  • Strong knowledge in one or more areas: Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, IGMP, PIM SM/SSM, QoS, L2-L3 protocols, Platform validation, HA, QOS, network management.
  • Experience with IXIA and/or Spirent test tools is desired.
