Job Title: Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled network infrastructure specialist to analyze, design, configure, install and manage large-scale enterprise networks and network equipment.
  • The ideal candidate will maintain up-to-date knowledge of network vendor technologies and associated software.
  • You will engage in technical administration of Cisco network equipment including routers, switches, access points and controllers.
  • Configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise network equipment is also key to this role.
  • Resolving complex issues involving a wide range of technologies is another crucial aspect of the job.
  • Assisting other teams with installing and configuring Cisco Voice Gateways, Integrated Services Routers (ISRs), Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE) routers, analog gateways and any other infrastructure equipment is also required.
  • You will work with carriers and configure/troubleshoot Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN and other WAN circuits and equipment.
  • Mentoring junior network engineers is an important part of the role.
  • You will ensure that the network meets compliance standards including PCI and HIPPA.
  • Providing on-call support to bring production systems to operational states is also a requirement.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting activities and resolving technical problems that occur is another key responsibility.
  • Performing system administration functions necessary to support continuous day-to-day system operations.
  • Using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Solarwans and other tools.
  • Expanding, relocating and consolidating voice infrastructure for all corporate locations.
  • Developing and maintaining network documentation.
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum process for the IT systems team.
  • Maintaining relationships with key contacts outside of own area of expertise.
  • Providing root cause analysis for outages and delivering SOPs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Minimum eight years of experience with Cisco routers/switches/routing protocols and other network equipment.
  • Experience implementing Cisco ISE.
  • Experience using Cisco DNA Center.
  • Experience with SD-WAN preferred.
  • Experience with SDN preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of networking in a VMware and/or Docker and/or AWS environment preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of IaC and/or NaC preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of Python and Ansible.
Certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional certification required.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certification preferred.
