Senior Network Security Engineer Role

As a Senior Network Security Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing network security solutions that meet organizational needs and future growth. This includes:

  • Designing and configuring SDWAN, MPLS, QoS, BGP, OSPF, and switching technologies.
  • Assisting in analyzing and responding to requests for proposals from potential clients.
  • Developing and executing proofs of concept for customers.
  • Validating design solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements and are technically feasible.

You will also be responsible for providing engineering support for the network infrastructure, including troubleshooting network issues and ensuring network security. Additionally, you will lead network-related projects from conception to completion, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables. You will also manage a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key qualifications include strong knowledge of networking technologies, experience in at least two SSE products and one CSP, problem-solving skills, leadership skills, experience in cloud infrastructure and application architecture, and knowledge of network security and its applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Network Design and Implementation: Develop and implement network designs that meet organizational needs and future growth.
  2. Customer Solutioning: Assist in analyzing and responding to RFPs from potential clients, develop and execute PoCs, work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address customer requirements, validate design solutions to ensure they meet the customer's requirements and are technically feasible.
  3. Network Support: Provide engineering support for the network infrastructure, including troubleshooting network issues and ensuring network security.
  4. Project Management: Lead network-related projects from conception to completion.
  5. Team Leadership: Manage a team of network engineers.
