Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to lead our tendering and bid management efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender Preparation: Prepare high-quality tenders for various sectors, ensuring timely submission and compliance with client requirements.
  • Bid Management: Oversee end-to-end bid management, including technical write-ups, cost estimations, subcontracting, JVs, consortium formation, client liaisoning, and project management.
  • Tender Identification: Identify relevant tenders from PSUs, government agencies, and private companies through various resources, staying up-to-date with bidding processes on government and portals.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare pre-qualification documents, EOI, BIDS, and attend pre-bid meetings as required.
  • Clients Relations: Maintain excellent professional relationships with clients, coordinating with central functions for bid compliance (accounts, legal, etc.).
  • Execution Team Coordination: Liaise with the execution team and maintain relationships with external parties for bidding jobs.
  • Correspondence and Reporting: Handle day-to-day correspondence, legal contractual correspondences with customers, and generate MIS reports/tender tracking updates.
  • Target Achievement: Achieve order booking targets from tenders.
  • Documentation and Credentials: Maintain documentation and correspondence of BD activities, updating credentials on a regular basis.
  • Business Sales Forecasting: Conduct business sales forecasting.
  • New Empanelment: Ensure new empanelment and renewal of existing empanelment with PSU and other agencies.

Requirements:

  • Education: B.Tech Elect/Mech with 10 years of experience in bidding/tendering, overall 10-15 years of experience.
  • Preferring MBA qualification.

Competencies:

  • Bidding & Tendering Knowledge: Strong knowledge of bidding and tendering activities.
  • Strategic and Analytical Ability: Possess strategic and analytical ability, good writing, and calculation skills.
