Key Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Senior Category Manager.

Job Description

As a Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex category/region by mastering process and category knowledge. You will partner with other teams to build business context and create effortless partnerships.

You will also display advanced project management skills to lead multiple projects seamlessly and ensure timely delivery of projects. Additionally, you will gain in-depth knowledge of our business, categories, products, tools, and share new learnings with the team on a continual basis.

Other responsibilities include contributing to the execution of planograms, best-in-class reports, tools, and customized shelving/assortment plans by leveraging merchandising guidelines. You will also manage end-to-end Best-in-class Planograms by becoming an SME for most categories.

Furthermore, you will acquire space automation skills to automate planogram execution or acquire space analysis skills to improve space productivity.

Your goal will be to recognize opportunities and take action to improve delivery of work. You will display a high sense of accountability when completing requests with high visibility or tight turnaround times.

Finally, you will scale-up growth by identifying areas where CI is required, both within existing scope, as well as new areas of opportunity. You will create an inclusive and collaborative environment and work in a team environment with focus on achieving team goals vs individual goals.

Key Skills/Experience Required

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in Space Planning JDA, Retail or FMCG Experience.
  • Bachelor s degree.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated intermediate Excel skills necessary
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of space management technology platform JDA
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with multi-functional teams / Stake holders.
  • Best-in-class time management and protization skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; proactively communicates using appropriate methods for situation and audience in clear, concise and professional manner
  • Advanced Project Management or Space Automation skills.
  • Differentiating Competencies Required
  • Strong at data analysis with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
