Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and cloud solutions using AWS services.

  • Key responsibilities include developing ETL/ELT solutions, ingesting, processing, and storing structured/unstructured data from multiple sources.
  • The successful candidate will implement data lake and data warehouse solutions and ensure data governance, quality, and security compliance.
  • They will also support real-time data streaming and analytics using AWS services (Kinesis, Kafka, Lambda).

Required Skills:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • Proficiency in AWS services: S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, EMR, Lake Formation, Lambda, Kinesis, Step Functions, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB.
  • Expertise in ETL/ELT development using PySpark, Python, or SQL and experience with data modeling, warehousing, and performance tuning.
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets and hands-on with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data solutions.

Bonus Points:

The following skills and qualifications would be beneficial but not required:

  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and model deployment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
