We are seeking a Cloud Native Data Architect with deep expertise in designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and architectures in cloud environments.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned data architect with hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions using cloud-native technologies such as AWS. This individual will also serve as a cloud expert, mentoring and guiding other data engineers as they enhance their cloud skillsets.

Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Architecture

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products
  • Develop and optimize ELT/ETL processes using cloud-native tools and technologies
  • Serve as a technical lead for the development of new data products and platforms
  • Migrate legacy systems to cloud-native platforms

Cloud Development & DevOps (AWS-Focused)

  • Build, deploy, and manage cloud-native data solutions using AWS services
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or equivalent technical role
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Development & DevOps experience
  • Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Deep experience with cloud-native technologies such as AWS
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking fundamentals
