Cloud-Native Developer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud-Native Developer to contribute to the development of cloud-native products and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, have worked on cloud-native technologies, and have a willingness to learn new technologies.

Job Summary

We require an experienced Cloud-Native Developer with a strong background in computer science and experience working on cloud-native technologies to design and implement product roadmaps.

Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the development of cloud-native products and services for our Kubernetes product ecosystem.
  2. Learn and collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap.
  3. Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  4. Continuously monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our product line.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with programming in Python or Golang.
  • 8-12 years of experience in a software development role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, switching, routing, and network protocols.
  • Prior experience in developing networking products (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Being a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.
