Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Architect

We are seeking a skilled Enterprise Cloud Architect to design and implement our cloud-native infrastructure.

This role will be hands-on with architecture and automation while also providing strategic direction on cloud adoption, DevOps tooling, and best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture & Strategy:
    • Define the end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade workloads in the cloud.
    • Design multi-environment, multi-region architectures for high availability and disaster recovery.
    • Establish best practices for container orchestration, scaling, and governance in the cloud.
    • Advise on cost optimization strategies for the cloud and related resources.
  • Cloud Expertise:
    • Architect and provision cloud clusters with features like cluster and node pool autoscaling, private cluster configuration, network isolation using CNI/Kubenet, managed identities, and Azure AD integration.
    • Integrate cloud services: Azure Monitor, managed Prometheus & Grafana, Container Registry (ACR), and Key Vault.
  • DevOps & Automation:
    • Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates for cloud provisioning.
    • Implement GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux) for automated deployments.
    • Define CI/CD architecture using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for cloud workloads.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Architect RBAC and Azure AD security models for cloud access.
    • Integrate security scanning for container images and cloud workloads.
    • Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and governance policies.
  • Monitoring, Logging, & Observability:
    • Architect observability solutions using Azure Monitor, managed Prometheus, Container Insights, and Grafana.
    • Establish automated alerting, anomaly detection, and incident response playbooks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related roles.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with deep cloud expertise.
  • Strong technical expertise in: Kubernetes architecture & troubleshooting, cloud networking (VNet, NSG, Private Link), IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM), and container security and governance.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
  • Experience with service mesh architectures (Istio, Linkerd, OSM).
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud management tools.
  • Experience in workload migration to the cloud.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to lead design workshops and architecture reviews.
  • Strategic problem-solver with hands-on implementation skills.
