Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to play a key role in designing, deploying and managing cloud solutions that align with our organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure according to best practices.
  • Develop cloud-based solutions using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and VPC.
  • Automate deployment, scaling and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Implement security measures and best practices including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security and data protection.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance.
  • Collaborate with development teams to set up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for smooth deployment workflows.
  • Conduct cloud cost analysis and optimization to drive efficiency.
  • Stay updated on cloud features and industry trends to continually innovate and improve our cloud practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services and features including but not limited to EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages like Python and Bash for automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts like VPC, subnetting, NAT and VPN.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools and practices.
  • AWS certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
